This role will focus on aligning the company’s people strategy with business goals, modernizing HR systems and processes, and enhancing cross-functional collaboration. As the most senior HR leader, you’ll guide organizational planning, lead culture and talent initiatives, and serve as a key advisor to executive leadership. Please note: This is a hybrid role. Candidates must be located in either Austin or El Paso, Texas.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy tied to business objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership to drive workforce planning, succession strategies, and organizational development.
- Oversee the modernization of HR tools, systems, and policies—including compliance, engagement, and performance management.
- Build strong partnerships with Safety, Risk Management, and Operations to ensure consistent practices and aligned cultural initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and grow the HR team while driving collaboration and accountability across functions.
- Use data and metrics to evaluate HR performance and guide decisions.
- Serve as a trusted voice in leadership discussions, offering strategic input on company-wide initiatives.
What You Bring:
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a senior or strategic HR role.
- Proven ability to think strategically while rolling up your sleeves to get things done—balancing business acumen with a strong focus on results.
- Experience navigating and leading organizational change, building cohesive strategies that scale with growth.
- A natural communicator and relationship builder who can influence across all levels of the organization.
- Success leading and developing HR teams, with a commitment to employee development and fostering high performance.
- Ability to build trust and alignment across functions, especially with field-based teams—bringing a spirit of cross-functional collaboration and conflict resolution.
- Deep understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices in labor-intensive industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required; Master’s or HR certification preferred.
